Indeed, I do leave this site to fend for itself for long periods of time, but it’s all for good reason — things have been BUSY. And not just your regular lowercase busy. No ma’am. BUSY. Here are some updates:
- I was accepted into the Screenwriters Lab through Whistler Film Festival, where I’ve been working with mentors to get “My Only Sunshine” into its tippiest, toppiest, shiniest shape. The program started in June with a week of intensive Zoom meetings, and will progress until the festival in December.
- I wrapped the first draft of my third TV movie. Now, every day, I check my email, waiting in fear for the bounty of notes that I know are coming my way.
- I’m writing a sitcom. Well, two episodes. But still. A sitcom. Comedy. A TV show with the sole intention of making people laugh. Pray for me.
- “My Only Sunshine” is a quarter-finalist in the TSL Free Screenplay Contest. COOL.
- And so much more!
So needless to say, I’m tired. But the best possible version of tired someone could be!
